This is the setting Joakim and I would talk.

In this episode, I talk to my good friend Joakim. I had met him in Nepal while staying with a local family in Kathmandu. We quickly started to have deeper conversations about traveling and life. Being in a mystical country like Nepal surrounded by the mountains was a great setting to have these kinds of conversations. Only two types of people go to Nepal. You’re either into meditation and/ or you’re into mountaineering. The locals are very friendly and helpful. Visiting the temples and walking around a place like Kathmandu was a very eye opening experience. Till this day, Nepal is one of my favorite countries I’ve visited.

The conversations with  Joakim is one of the main reasons I enjoyed the trip as much as I did.  In this episode, we talk about how important it is to have an open mind about a country before visiting. How planning all the details out before you go can hurt your experience.  How being jealous of others is only self limiting. How figuring what drives you can be critical to achieving your dreams. Most importantly how being as specific as possible in your vision is key. So sit back and enjoy another episode of The Art of Happy Travels.

This is Joakim 🙂
